Black Wooden Watch Box with Piano-Gloss Lacquer and PU Leather Lining

This is a single-watch box built for retail counters and gift handover. The shell is finished in high-gloss piano lacquer, the interior is lined in soft PU leather with a fitted cushion, and everything arrives ready to use — no assembly, no sourcing the outer box separately, no ordering foam as an afterthought.

We have been making printed and rigid packaging for over 20 years. Most of what we produce goes out under someone else's brand, which is why we describe this box in plain terms rather than in the language of a brochure.

What Ships in the Box

One set is a complete retail unit. Nothing needs to be bought separately before it goes on a counter or into a parcel:

The Finish, and What It Asks of You

High-gloss piano lacquer is the reason this box photographs the way it does, and also the reason it needs a little care.

What it gives you. A lacquer finish over black produces a mirror-like reflection. Under retail lighting it reads as depth rather than shine, which is what separates a display box from a shipping box. Against a dark interior it makes the watch the brightest thing in the frame.

What it asks in return. A mirror finish shows fingerprints, dust and fine scratches more than a matte or satin finish does. In practice:

• Store the box back in the outer carton or its felt bag between uses
• Wipe with a soft dry cloth, not a paper towel — paper fibres micro-scratch gloss
• Plan on gloves for a photoshoot, or on retouching the frame afterwards
• Keep it away from damp, heat sources and direct sunlight over long storage

If your customers open boxes in-store and pass them around, a satin finish may suit you better. We would rather say that now than have you discover it after a season of returns.

Dimensions, Carton Data and Lead Time

Carton size and weight are the two numbers buyers ask for most often, because they set both the freight cost and the warehouse slot. These are the actual figures for the standard configuration — if your quantity is not a multiple of 20, tell us and we will confirm the packed volume for your order.

Two Ways to Buy

Stock, small quantity. From 2 pieces. These are finished boxes held in stock, so they ship in 1–3 working days. This is the route for a trial listing, a single VIP gift, or testing the finish before you commit to a run.

Custom, bulk. Your logo on the lid or the lining, your own model number, colour printing. Production lead time is confirmed by our sales team once artwork and quantity are agreed. --MOQ50

Custom Logo Options

Logo printing can go on the box lid or the inner lining — or both.

Send artwork as AI or PDF vector. A JPEG or a screenshot will not produce a usable proof at this size, and we would rather ask you for the vector file up front than send you a blurry sample and lose two weeks.

We supply a free logo sample from stock so you can hold the actual print before committing to a bulk run. You cover the courier cost only.

If you are storing boxes rather than shipping them straight out: keep them dry and ventilated, away from damp, heat sources and direct sunlight. High-gloss lacquer and a paper-based outer box both react to sustained humidity, and sun will dull a gloss finish over a long enough summer.

How We Pack and Store It

The two failure modes on this set are surface scratches on the lacquered box and crushed corners on the outer carton. Both are handling problems, not material problems.

• Every watch box is wrapped with protective foam before it goes into the carton
• EPE pads buffer and separate the box inside the outer carton so it cannot shift or rub
• Stack height is controlled so the cartons do not deform under load

Questions We Get Before Orders

What is included for one unit?

The glossy wooden watch box, a fitted PU leather watch cushion, the outer protective box, and EPE foam protective pads — exactly as shown in the product photos.

What material is the watch box made of?

A piano-lacquered wood-based panel with a soft PU leather interior. It is not solid hardwood — we would rather say that up front than have a customs declaration say it for us.

Can I order a small quantity for trial?

Yes. MOQ is 2 pcs on stock items, and stock ships in 1–3 working days. That is deliberate: we would rather you test the finish on two boxes than commit to two hundred and regret it.

How are goods packed for international shipping? Will they get scratched?

Every watch box is wrapped with protective foam, then packed into thick export cartons with EPE pads above and below for anti-collision protection. Carton size is 33 × 27 × 52 cm at 12.5 kg. Please inspect goods upon receipt.

What is the lead time?

Stock items ship within 1–3 working days. For bulk custom-logo orders, our sales team confirms production lead time once artwork and quantity are agreed.

Can I add my own brand logo?

Yes — on the box lid, the inner lining, or both. Send your logo artwork as an AI or PDF vector file and we will come back with a proof and a quotation.
